Below is a summary of our tariffs that form part of our charges scheme for 2016/2017 (PDF 801 KB opens in a new window)

Charges effective 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017

Infrastructure Other details
 Water infrastructure £357.60  In cases where houses are subject to a common billing agreement with a common supply pipe, or a non-household premises is served by a supply pipe larger than 25mm external diameter, the infrastructure charge will be multiplied by the relevant multiplier

 Per visit charge £50.60  Any additional visits to re-inspect incur £50.60 charges
   
Water used during development
House or other premises with a standard size connection £25.00 per unit  
Developments other than those of houses £0.10 per £100 of the contract value

Charges associated with a new connection to the public sewer
Administration and supervision of standard connection within normal working hours £307 For the purpose of these charges, normal working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and exclude bank holidays

Adoption of sewers
Assessment and inspection fees for section 104 sewer adoptions submissions 2.5% of estimated asset value, minimum charge £613.00  
Initial assessment fee to be paid with section 104 submission (up-front payment deductible from final cost) – small development up to 20 premises £753.00  Includes £140 digital processing fee
Initial assessment fee to be paid with section 104 submission (up-front payment deductible from final cost) – medium development from 21-50 premises £1,329.00  Includes £140 digital processing fee
Initial assessment fee to be paid with section 104 submission (up-front payment deductible from final cost) – large development over 50 premises £1,942  Includes £140 digital processing fee
Legal fee £625.00  
Legal fee for transfer of land provision of an easement (per transaction) £675.00  
Installation and commissioning of United Utilities'-built telemetry outstation  At cost
