Working in partnership with the debt advisor community

The debt advisor community plays a key role in helping to raise awareness of our support schemes.

Customers can often feel more comfortable talking to a local debt advisor rather than speaking to us direct so it’s really important that we work closely with advisors across the North West so they understand how we can help customers struggling with their water bills.

Since 2018 we have organised a number of annual affordability conferences, bringing together the debt advisor community to share ideas and look for ways to improve our support schemes. These events also resulted in the creation of the ‘Hardship Hub’, an online tool for debt advisors to access information about a range of support schemes offered by both public and private sector organisations.
