Why do we optimise and manage water pressure?

Optimising and managing water pressure is crucial to preventing leaks and bursts on both our pipes and yours, keeping your supply running smoothly and protecting you from unexpected costs.

The water pressure in your home will vary depending on:

  • Where you live
  • How much water is being used by you and your neighbours at the same time
  • How high above sea level the reservoir is compared to your property

With good pressure optimisation and management, water pipes will; last longer without maintenance or needing to be replaced, make your water supply more reliable, reduce leaks and save you money on your water and energy bills.
