'Recite Me' lets you customise our website to work in a way that helps you use it best. We've made sure it’s very simple to use so don’t worry, you don’t have to download or install anything and there are no compatibility issues.

So whether you have dyslexia, a visual impairment or English isn't your first language, 'Recite Me' has the tools to help.

How to use ReciteMe

You can watch our video below and we've also explained the different tools available in 'Recite Me', it's so easy - give it a go.

To access 'Recite Me', all you need to do is click on the pink ‘ACCESSIBILITY HELP?’ button at the bottom right of the page or click the button below.

    Rewind to the previous paragraph of text
  • Play button icon
    Click the Play button to read the text aloud
  • Fast-forward button icon
    Skip forward to next paragraph of text
  • Minus button icon
    Decrease the text size
  • Aa button icon
    Change the font
  • Plus button icon
    Increase the text size
  • Colour wheel button icon
    Change the background, text and link colours
  • Ruler button icon
    Enable the Reading Ruler
  • Lines button icon
    Change the text dimensions

    Dictionary

    Translate the text into a different language

    Remove images and view in plain text mode

Important notice

Heavy rainfall and sewer flooding

The heavy rainfall may be causing flooding in some parts of the region.

Our teams are out working hard across the region helping our customers who have experienced sewer flooding in their homes.

If you’re experiencing flooding from a road or footpath and there is no evidence of sewage (toilet paper etc.) please report this to your local council, who are responsible for highways drainage flooding.

Please be aware that our phone lines are much busier than normal, take a look at our flooding page for further advice on what to do if you’re affected by flooding.
