Cheshire Wildlife Trust
Cheshire Wildlife Trust is a grassroots movement of people from a wide range of backgrounds and all walks of life, who believe that we need nature and nature needs us. Together with members and volunteers, the trust fights for nature's recovery across the region.
Forestry England
For more than 100 years, Forestry England has been growing, shaping and caring for over 1,500 forests for the benefit and enjoyment of all, for this generation and the next. It cares for more land and trees than any other organisation in England, shaping landscapes for people, wildlife and timber.
Peak District National Park
The Peak District National Park was designated a national park in 1951, making it the UK's first, and is looked after by the Peak District National Park Authority. Its purposes are to conserve and enhance the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the national park, and promote opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the special qualities of national parks by the public.
NLG Ecology
NLG Ecology is a team of ecologists in East Cheshire who undertake ecological survey work and provide specialist advice. They have been supporting United Utilities’ capital programme for a number of years.
Cheshire East Council
Cheshire East Council provides local government services to around 398,800 residents in Cheshire East, across an area of 1,165km2. It is the third largest Unitary Authority in the North West, after Manchester and Liverpool.
Cheshire Constabulary
Cheshire Constabulary covers policing across Cheshire East, as well as Cheshire West and Chester, and the boroughs of Halton and Warrington.
Macclesfield Forest Mountain Biking Association
The Macclesfield Forest Mountain Biking Association has been formed by local mountain bikers as part of the trial to allow the activity in the forest.
